Altara is a self-sustaining, solar LED lighting solution specially designed for exposed locations with critical weather conditions and no grid power supply.

It includes a modern energy pole and an LED light that can be directly integrated into bus stops.

Altara generates abundant energy even in diffuse light conditions (i.e. fog, snow, etc.). A sophisticated energy management system ensures operation even in continuous bad weather conditions.

Wherever electricity is not readily available, all of Photinus’ solar luminaires can be easily installed.

Our unique construction guarantees unimpeded energy uptake since the solar module cannot be covered by snow or foliage.

The Altara is ideal for illuminating bus stops, pedestrian underpasses, carports, and bicycle parking areas.
